I had a German friend who shipped his TV to Phuket and found out it would not pickup stations. But I could be wrong becuse he had a habit of talking aload of bulls. Syl
February 4, 200917 yr Author he is probably right regarding analog cable, but i wouldn't use that anyway. just a sat receiver and blu ray via hdmi
February 5, 200917 yr 100% correct.. The OTA tuning is different (its PAL still but the audio is on a different carrier IIRC) but of course as a display for a STB / DVD / or anything else its just fine. Almost any modern TV will be multi input and Hidef ready these days.
