Golden Retriever Kennel

Featured Replies

One of my two golden dogs died yesterday after some a-hole mixed poison with left over food and put it outside on the road. She managed to get about a mouthful before I could drag here away, but that proved to be enough. I didn’t know that it was poison in the food at the time, but later (after having buried her) went back and found small green pellets mixed in. I’m fxxxing angy that a human being can do this intentionally, but have no proof who did it.

We have another dog who now dearly misses her buddy. She’s been walking around the house since yesterday looking for her friend. She also doesn’t want to go outside as she just sits by the gate and looks back at the house. I miss my dog tremendously, but we need to try and find a new friend for her. I’m therefore checking to see if anyone knows a good golden breeder preferably on the east side of Thailand (we live in Chanthaburi).

We would also be interested in possibly adopting a lovely golden (female) of around 2-3 years old if anyone would be interested.

Tompa,

i'm very sorry for your loss :o

i think before getting a new dog you should try and find out who and why put out the poison, if your dogs were 'meant'. because it could happen again, and also easy to be thrown over your gate... if necessary you would have to get a kennel for your dog(s) to prevent from getting poisoned.

Thanks for the reply.

We've talked to quite a few people around our area (it's a fenced type of Mo Ban), and apparently it's happend on quite a few occassions in the past. There are quite a few stray dogs/cats running around the area, and some people don't like them and have put out poison to try and kill them off. We have no arguments with any of our neigbours so I think this was a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I still can't understand how some jerks can do something like this.

Tompa
