Non Imm B And Work Permit - Penang

Featured Replies

I plan to apply for a Work Permit when I return to Thailand after I get my non-imm B visa from Penang.

I however plan to return home (the US) in mid March. I'm assuming my WP won't be finished by that time. Will this effect the status of my WP if I return with a NEW non-imm B visa from the states?

I say new, because I am told Penang isn't issuing multiple entry non imm b visas.

from my experience the workpermit can be finish around 1 to 2 weeks thats it if you have a complete your docs. so if you get your visa now then apply for wp, you can finish it all before march. and by the time you need to go all you need will be the reentry from the immigration.

If you have non-immigrant entry permit, medical certificate, photos, documentation of university degree, and required documents from employer, we can typically put together an application within 48 hours, and - following submission- get it back within 7-10 days.

If you depart Thailand with a valid work permit, and reenter with valid non-immigrant entry permit before work permit's expiration date, the work permit is unaffected - but it still expires on the date stamped in the work permit.

Good luck!
