What's My Name ?

Featured Replies

Has this happened to anyone else ? I checked my mail oday, and got logged in to thaivisa forum as Miami Bob. Obviously I could use this name to slander anyone, and get the real Miami Bob chucked off the forum.

Can I have my name back ?

Patong Bob.

Did you try logging off as Miami Bob and logging in again with your user name?

If you're using an internet shop then more than likely, whoever the real MB is, didn't log off when finishing his session.

I have this problem at internet shops, especially when using IE (surprise). I'd logout and come back 2 days later and still be logged in.

To stop this, at the end of your session click on the link marked "Delete cookies set by this board" to make sure you are completely logged out. Then go to tools/internet options, and delete temporary internet files.

Best way I found was to Log Off and then close I.E. Go to the I.E. Icon and press the right hand button on your mouse. Choose Properties, click this (with your left hand) and then “Delete Cookies”. Then “Delete Files” click the box, then “Delete all offline content” Once do then click on “Clear History” and delete your history. :D

Me think that should do the trick. :o

Kan Win :D
