Is one day overstay still free if leaving from the airport? If not, what is the fee?

No fine for a one-day overstay when leaving from the airport but allow some extra time as you will be referred to a separate officer to get a note in your passport.

The fine is 500 Baht a day, but as said at the airport you get one day for free.

Yes, I didn't pay last month for overstay, they just waved me through.

I have overstayed one time.When your about to go through immigration,they will send you to a small room close by. This was the old airport though.Its nothing to worry about really.They are just happy to take the 500b off you and thats it.No other questions.
