Job Title For Wp

Featured Replies

Hi,

I remember reading that a possible option to avoid all the recent & imminent requirements to teach in Thailand would be to change the job title when applying for a WP, I think something like 'Native English Speaking Instructor' or similar was suggested. Does anyone know if this is a viable option and have done it themselves or know anyone who has done it? Isn't the contract that foreigners have with schools special anyway because only a Thai national can have a teachers contract? If so surely the school can give any job title they want.

Thanks in advance

I've heard 'Student Trainer' and 'Student Assistant' have been used before.
