Investors In Samui Peninsula And Phuket Peninsula

Would you please reply to me if you have not received your returns as an investor in either the Samui Peninsula (Samudra Retreat) or the Phuket Peninsula (Hyatt Regency Hotel Phuket) and wish to discuss further.

how can you get your return back when they are Timeshare resorts???????

These are investment properties.

They make you purchase the villa, rent it through the hotel/management, receive a return and give you 2 weeks to a month per year.

I see some of these places guarantee returns for 2 years..

I don't know why people go this route.

I am looking to trace anyone who has purchased a guaranteed return investment in this hotel. Although it is not open yet, returns were being paid out which would then revert to rental income once the hotel was open. I am aware it is currently on hold in terms of construction.

The Hyatt Regency Phuket is far from being completed, construction has currently stopped. So, what returns do you expect?

I am a guaranteed return investor in the Hyatt Regency. The management company The Quality Group, has not been returning word or info with regards to the future of the hotel. Having a terrible time getting in touch with them. Guaranteed returns were paid earlier in the project but have been on hold also. Any info you can share?

Only some of the inventory is timeshare. Villas were for sale on an investment/rental basis a few years ago.....

We are in touch with one other investor in this particular venture and also another investor in the Samui Peninsula. We are all in the same position of not receiving any replies to our e mails and we have not had our returns for 2 years now. Bernie Madoff, Ponzi Scheme?  Pay a year or two returns to the first buyers from new buyers, then when the new buyers dry up so do the "guaranteed returns". Be nice if the law made these people put the guaranteed returns  into an escrow account that they couldn't touch :)

In a previous post I left my e mail address which has been removed on the basis I live in Kata?? Not sure what this is about. The address was a South African e mail address. I would really like to hear from any investors in either the Samui Peninsula or the Hyatt Regency Phuket (formerly Phuket Peninsula) who are having problems getting any response from the company regarding unpaid returns and the registration of leases. My financial advisor has been in discussions with them and is getting inneffective responses but she has made contact. Im also looking to enforce stronger action soon, perhaps legal, and its tough as I do not live in Thailand currently. The Quality Group is quite a large development group in the country so this behavior is surprising.

Dont mix The Quality Group up with the group that handles Q-House....Totally different.

Get a group of 20 plus together and go to the DSI on Sathorn road. Than it becomes a criminal case and things will go fast.

Guaranteed and Thailand do not go together. Contracts aren't worth the paper their written on. Sure pursue legal action, you might even win, but good luck recovering any money.annoyed.gif

I believe the "guaranteed return investment" touted with these projects refers to the plan sponsors/developers money...not the funds of the mugs who buy into them.
