Fed Ex/ Dhl

Featured Replies

I need to post a bank card from England to Koh Phangan - does anyone recommend Fed Ex or DHL as a good courier - or is the whole thing a bit dodgy? Thanks for your help

Fed Ex is not located in Ko Samui and I do not believe any of the others are either. Avoid Southern Parcel Service near Chaweng at 109/44-45, Moo6 Tambon Bo Phut, Ko Samui. They said they will ship my 10g FedEx box back to my home in Florida, USA. It took almost 5 weeks to arrive. They had to send package via boat to Surattani on mainland, then fly box from their to Bangkok via Thai Airways before it was finally recived by FedEx.

You might want to try a Thai Post Office and see what they say. Keep all recipts and contact information.

I've received many things, including bank cards, by dhl/ups/fed ex on koh phangan, and never had any problem with any of them. I have no preference they all seem equally good.

If you use dhl they will take it as far as bangkok and then they pass it on to EMS [thai postal service] who will then deliver it to you.

I used dhl a couple of weeks ago to have something delivered from Turkey to Hua Hin and had no problems whatsoever and was pleased with there service.
