Surin Beach Resort

does anyone know if the Surin Beach Resort has finished their remodeling that was scheduled for completion a year or so ago ?

and if the horrible, nasty smell of pig crap from the place next door is gone ? thanx

The smell is still there and awful after it rains... I am not sure about the resort. Cant believe there is a pig farm near all these resorts? I was told it had gone but the smell hasn't?

I believe the Surin Beach resort is now a Courtyard Marriott.

The sell has lessened but it comes and goes.

Apparently the pig farmer was paid X amount for every pig that he got out of there and well, let's just say, he took his time and every now and then there was a mystical bump in the pig population from time to time.

The pig farm will never go ! ......... he has been offered millions for the land, but will not take it.

ok. thanks for the replies......When we stayed there last year it was impossible to eat in the restaurant with the horrible stench of pig poop...... phew !! very nasty....guess we won't bother staying there again.....

Drove past yesterday and only saw about 4 pigs being kept? its been raining the past few days and the smell is not as bad as normal after the rains...
