As the title says is there one ? :o

I need a new CMOS battery for my laptop. Its an Acer Aspire which is pretty big in Thailand and thought it would be no problem. Wrong. I tried every computer shop from Maenam to Chawang and Chong mon and nothing. Nearly all didn't know what a CMOS battery was and was told by some I didn't need one but they could fix it no problem. Anybody know where there is a shop where they at least know the basics of computing ? Cheers in advance :D

I can't recommend a shop, because I don't let a Thai near my computer again! But I found a German guy who knows his way with computers and he can order any part from BKK which will be here in a couple of days. His name is Ballou (speaks English also) , he lives just next to Tesco in Chaweng. Good luck!

Please PM mitmig for conatct details.

He should look if it is not a such a battery that plugs in wit a cord. Probably in the crimpfoil is a normal 3V lithium battery.
