Guys, considering the escalation of the situation in Bangkok today is this likely to 'suspend' the Embassy's visa processing? We currently have a settlement visa pending with the Embassy and I am concerned what affects this will have on the process and may cause even more delay.

For the time being the embassy would have been on holiday anyway over the Easter weekend and for Songkran.

Once this holiday period is over, if the problems and civil unrest continue, then yes it will slow or delay processing times further.

The decision makers ( As they are junior management) will be doing other work temporarily to enable them to help those British citizens requiring help or guidance during this time.

I also have a settlement Visa pending for my wife and i am assuming this lot will add 2-3 weeks to the processing time at least.
