Last week, we were treated to the spectacle of Thaksin's extended family leaving Thailand. I suppose they didn't like Songkran either, maybe they were bored with ASEAN preparations, but they seemed to be all leaving at the same time, initially for different destinations. Now, some may say they left because they knew what was coming last weekend, but let us be charitable and say everything was kosher.

I wonder if they will reappear soon and if recent events have affected them any?

And what would be the chance of Thaksin minor setting up and leading the second phase of the Thaksin dynasty?

IMHO Only chance of Taksin minor setting up, is if Taksin major bows out , and that doesn't look like happening anytime soon,

notice that Taksin doesn't seem to allow any of his offspring to be involved in any political activities...i guess he doesn't want to share the spotlight!

Of course they are coming back. There were simply on business meetings. Thaksin coming back to, just waiting for the right time ( according to stephen hawking - the timespace continuum is relative and everyones time is different )
