On Khao San Road is there much difference between extending it and not? Do you leave the dress flip flops in storage another day?

nightmare if you have just arrived ex[ecting to relax for a few days........

Personally I think it sounds like a good idea. The backpackers love it, the Thai people make a ton of money off of all the extra people who come in for it (the boat today was teeming with Thai kids from Nonthaburi headed to Khao San) and, best of all, it helps centralize all the people who want to keep throwing tons of water aggressively after the official Songkran is over.
