Hotel Near The Beach Under 1000 Baht

A friend of mine is coming to Pattaya and he is looking for a hotel around 700-1000 Baht per night with a swimming pool near the beach.

I don't know of one with a swimming pool. Can anyone here recommend one?

Welcome Plaza I think it's called is on Second Road opposite Royal Garden Plaza, a 200m walk through the shopping mall will see him on beach road.

It has a pool and breakfast at 850 Baht last time I was there.

Siam Bayview Hotel, I believe is in the price range - two entrances, one on Beach Road and one on 2nd Road right next to the new Malibu Bar. My Brother stayed there a couple of Months back and said it was very nice indeed.

The Ibis Hotel 2nd road near Soi 1. Recently opened with a nice pool, safety deposit box in the room, lcd tv and a very comfy bed. Very clean and professionally run. If you book online through the Ibis website more than 3 days before you can get the room for 1002b including tax. (Same deal on there Soi Nana hotel too )
