Chon Buri governor transferred to Chachoengsao

BANGKOK: -- The Cabinet Wednesday approved the transfer of the Chon Buri governor to Chachoengsao as proposed by the Interior Ministry.

Wirawit Wiwattanawanit, the Chon Buri governor, came under fire for failing to stop red-shirted protestors from disrupting the Asean summit in Pattaya.

The Cabinet also approved the transfer of Si Sa Ket Governor Senee Jittakasem as the new Chon Buri governor.

The old gov goes to Baan Nork for being too red, and the replacement comes from the home of many resident of the fine city of Pattaya.

It will be interesting how the job shuffles happen down the line.
