I was in BKK the last few nights, I like to have drinks at The Golden Bar outside Nana Hotel on the street, great for people watching.

Each night I saw this same Thai woman, early-mid thirties, brown overshirt, jeans, big backpack, dark sunglasses (at night?), that would kind of hang around, beg a bit.

I talked to her a little, seemed very nice, one evening I slipped her a 100thb and she gave a very big smile, bought some Leo, came back to say thank you.

I guess just a lady down on her luck, maybe an ex bargirl that got tired of the trade, anyway, anyone else seen this lady? Really know her story? I can speculate too, so I'm hoping the the joking speculations don't clog this thread.

Golden staff says she is schizophrenic, sometimes runs out of money for her meds, or people buy her drinks which negates the meds and she gets pretty crazy. I saw her go from yelling wildly, to giddy laughing.

For me, very sad.

well she is defenatly 1 can short of a six pack, but i have yet to see the lady you mentioed

also just down the road at the family mart is a ferang drinking chang with no shoes on and very very scruffy........

but with the girl at nana, i wonder if she is there to ' pick ' up customers ?????? could not imagine anyone taking her!

but really she needs help,, i dont know why the men in white coats have not taken her

i had seen this women on soi 5 - 7 the last 4 days ... very strange
