Hi there

am looking to have a Vasectomy reversal maybe with vaso-epidymostomy, and was wondering

if anyone in here has any views about the best hospitals, the worst hospitals and maybe

approximate prices.

I had the Vasectomy done in 1994, so hope the reversal will work.

post-17023-1242409766_thumb.jpghi I had the vasectomy done in 1996, and a reversal done 2007, but I oppted to have the reversal done in the UK, had it done in Doncaster Hospital, My then Thai Girlfriend now wife was advised it was too long between the operations and would not work for sure, where as the consultation with the specialist in Doncaster Hospital said he could connect the pipes back 100% but he didnt know what the result would be, after the op gave a sperm sample and got a positive result, the price I paid was £1750.00 well worth it, I think the price in Thailand is no cheaper in some cases especialy now with the crap exchange rate it 's worse, so my advise to you mate would be presuming you are English check it out at home much safer I think, not like going to the dentist, here's the result of the reversal :)

or (not now, obviously, but later when situation has eased):

Chulalonghorn Hospital Infertiltiy Clinic

Prof. Nares Sukcharoen

I should caution tho that >10 years post-vasectomy, success rate for reversals not very high

Another option which you should discuss with the doctor is to aspirate your sperm to artifically inseminate your wife ("surgical sperm removal"). The resulting child would still be biologically yours.
