we have not visited chiang mai before. we will be staying at the sheraton hotel. I always find the most expensive part of hotel stays is the laundry. is there a laundry service outside but close to the hotel that we could use?

Anyway, in the sois on the other side of the Lamphun road, so behind the market, I bet there are many laundry shops.

Riverside Condo. Next to Sheraton Hotel.has laundry just past reception, It is good and cheap. Bill.

having spent 10 days in CM and used the laundry in the riverside condos, I can endorse the view that this is a cheap, good and reliable service. thanks for the tip.

I found the sheraton an excellent hotel and good value compared to bangkok hotels of a similar standing.

the location of the hotel was great. a twenty minute walk into CM or 40 baht by tuk tuk when I felt lazy.

we enjoyed the ping river restaurant, just over the bridge from the sheraton. excellent thai food, great sevice but watch the mossies.

went from CM to hua hin. (I preferred CM).
