Accident Guitarist Dies After Crashing Into Lorry in Chachoengsao
Pictures courtesy of Khaosod. A 35-year-old guitarist was killed in the early hours of the morning of 25 August, after his car slammed into the back of a six-wheeled lorry in Chachoengsao province. The crash occurred at around 04:00 on Theppharat Road, Ban Pho district. Police and rescue workers arrived to find the victim, named as Mr. Phuwaphat, thrown from his vehicle and lying dead by the roadside. His orange car was left completely wrecked, with debris scattered across the tarmac. A guitar belonging to the victim was also discovered at the scene. The lorry involved, registered in Bangkok, was found nearby with damage to its rear left and indicator. Local resident Ms. Suthida, 53, told reporters she was awoken by the sound of screeching brakes followed by a loud bang. Rushing outside, she saw the aftermath of the collision, with the car overturned on its side in a roadside ditch. The lorry driver, Mr. Thosapol, 32, said he had just finished work and was driving home when he suddenly heard a loud crash at the back of his vehicle. “I checked my mirrors before but didn’t see any car behind me. Then suddenly there was this huge bang,” he explained. Police photographed and documented the scene and took Mr. Thosapol in for questioning. The victim’s body was transferred to Ban Pho Hospital. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Adapted by Asean Now from Khaosod 2025-08-25 -

Crime Man Killed in Temple After Dispute Over Liquor, Monk Flees
Why is it that the Buddhist religion does not stop this bad behavior in their temples. Surely, the other monks there are aware of protocols being broken by their peers. It is not difficult to see this living next to someone especially in a temple. Drug use, alcohol use, guests in their rooms albeit boys or women, or out in a hotel somewhere past their time to have returned to the temple. I think the other good monks have done a lot to protect the bad monks. Turning to look away or zipping their lips about it all. The Thai version of this religion has really gone from bad to nasty.
