Bringing Mum On Holiday To Th In July

Featured Replies

Hi All -

I am meeting my old Mum in TH in July for holdiay. She will be with me for about 2 weeks, I'll be in TH 3 weeks coming over from the Mideast.

I've been to TH about 8 times. My plan so far is to stay at a good hotel close to Siam and show her the shopping areas and sites like Erawan and the Grand Palace and Wat areas. I'll probably have a TGF with me to help with things.

Then to Phuket for a short week, and maybe, maybe to Pattaya after that. We can stay in Jomtien. I'd like to get up to Chang Mai as I have never been there but it does not fit in too well logistically, at least that's what I think at this point. I have some thoughts of getting her locate to Jomtien or Phuket in the future when I retire.

Thanks for this forum, it's the greatest! - Sunseek

Don't overstress your old Mom. Seems to be a tough program for someone old. Consider the rainy season in parts of Thailand as well. Make sure she has uncomplicated flight/airport/customs matters.
