Drivers License?

Quick question. Is it possible as a foreigner to get a drivers license in Thailand? I am married and living here since a few years, on an annual marriage visa extension (non-imm O) based on the 400k in the bank. Is there any way to make a drivers license here? I really don't want to go to my home country for a few weeks or months just to get a drivers license.

By the way, if you do not have an International license you will have to take a written test. There is an English version so you do not to read Thai. There is an online study website here. http://www.dlt.go.th/driving_hp/ELearnning/E-Learning2.swf
