I will be visiting Bkk shortly and am looking for good places that would be both suitable and fun for a 5 year old.

Can you please help.......

Dusit Zoo

long tail boat

a real market ( kids love them seeing all the meat and chooks hanging up)

Leave plenty of time for ice cream and rests and don't forget drinks.

Dont worry too much about toilets people will helo find one for hm anywhere.

And a temple or two....they love the gold.

and if by mistake you end up in Patpong the girls will spoil him terribly.

Take the Skytrain to River, negotiate for a one hour boat ride, to include, feeding fishes, snake zoo and a how to make Thai Sweets.

Should be around 300 baht.

The snake Zoo will cost extra, but your tail boat driver will also get a tip for taking you there. The Snake Zoo is a cobra show and a small zoo.

Feeding the fish so bring some bread with you. or buy the bread for 10 baht but as you know it is never enough.

And lastly take him to a place where he can see them making Thai Sweets, watch out for all the wasps there.

This may put him off eating sweet stuff while your in Thailand.

Just the fact that he is on a boat will thrill him.

Then take a tuk tuk to somewhere it is a helleva ride but make sure it is a short ride cos they can be expensive.

Siam Square has alot to offer younfg people but it is mostly teen but have a snoops around

THe Mall on Ngarm Won Warn Road in Nonathburi has a outdoor fun pool with slides at the top of the Mall plus next to it is also amusements for kids.

It also has a cinema.

I also agree Dreamworld and Siam Fun Park where other posters have said.
