I'm playing around with the DXO RAW developer which "seems" to handle G10 files a lot better.

Early days yet ( 1 day actually) and more tests to go but initial thoughts are favourable.

I love the look and feel and usability of the G10 but (up to date) the IQ is disappointing.

You should download the free trial and see what your 1D looks like.

Both images straight out of the camera and in both cases I just hit "auto tone" and "auto white balance". And absolutely nothing else.

as a pic of a push bike i guess its ok if thats what interests you as an idea....... i can gather that the color version was not that fascinating...... but the change it to glorious b & w was a misguided idea

The bicycle looks like it might be a prop left in the shot by the OP.
