Yamaha Nouvo 150cc Upgrade

Recommended Posts

Hi! I am from the Philippines. I am very interestd in the forums I have read, and I was wondering, if anyone can give me tips on an upgrade I am currently working on my Yamaha Nouvo. I have already changed the block to 58.5mm and replaced my cam to stage 1 racing cam. Is it okay to change the gearing and pulley? What would be the effect? Right now, from 0kph to 80kph, I am having no problems, except when I reach 100kph, it seems the bike is having a hard time going beyond it. Does it have to do my pipe being stock? I was told to get a V8 pipe or XJL, so it can match the bike's new displacement.

Thanks!
