HELLO THERE, DOES ANYONE KNOW IF IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE TO BOOK AN AIR ASIA FLIGHT TO PHUKET AT THE AIRPORT IN BANGKOK, RATHER THAN BOOKING ON LINE,

Posted

Generally yes. The online prices are better and I am guessing that you mean you're arriviving on a flight from elsewhere and going to the AA kiosk and purchaing an onward ticket to Phuket for the same day, you would would lose the advance purchase discount. A planned early flight could be as low as 890 baht but an at aiport ticket for travel the same day could be over 4800 baht.

Yes, the earlier you book the cheaper it is to fly. Also try looking at Nok Air as they have some discounted fares presently and generally have a better on time record than other budget airlines.

THANKS FOR THE INFO, IVE JUST BOOKED WITH AIR ASIA ONLINE FOR 1300 BAHT RETURN IN SEPTEMBER :)

Please do not use capital letters.

WHY NOT

Because a site admin told you not to. It's also considered yelling and is hard to read.

Air Asia's baggage allowance is also more expensive if you book by means other than on the internet. If you want a flight within the next 24 hours you cannot use internet. Air Asia have a booth at the Tesco Lotus in On Nut (end stop of BTS) if you are in BKK and do not want to go to the airport - until your flight obviously!

Nice cheap airline, based on frequent experience BKK to Ubon and occasional to CM. They'll frequently take off before schedule when they can get you on the plane quickly.
