with the new release of the iphone 3gs in the US/Some of Europe.. have any of you seen the new model floating around any of the grey markets? if so: where?

im going there in two weeks... any help would be awesome..

also- have you seen any carrier unlocked (officially unlocked) ones anywhere?

Yeah sure its here (stop whinging that noone replied, it is in another thread.)

Roughly speaking the software unlocked is Bt36k and the official unlocked is Bt42k. I know it sounds high but it isnt much cheaper to buy on Ebay. Some of the outlets are giving away very good Apps packages worth at least an additional Bt10k. Just go to 4th flr MBK.

No sign from True at the moment but giving that they are continuing to sell the 16GB unlocked no Apps at Bt28,500, the downside is a max Bt5k over the next 2 months.The 3GS is pretty cool, much improved speakers, much faster and generally better. Whether you can really upgrade from a 3G is debateble. For those with the earlier ones it must be right.
