george Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Racing pigeon found six months after competition SURIN: -- A racing pigeon has been found in a temple in Surin's Muang district, six months after it was lost during an international competition. Tambon Ta-Ong head priest Phra Khru Surajitsopon of Wat Ban Jaraen said the bird appeared familiar with people as it didn't fly away when approached last Monday at the wat. The bird's left leg carried a chit that read "THAILAND CHA 2008 45509", so the monk ordered it caged until its owner could be traced. -- The Nation 2009-06-22
