"Something went wrong"
Dear Folks, Yes, as you can see from the attached two images... "Something went wrong" As of this moment, I do not know what went wrong. This is just part of being a member of the computing community. Things ALWAYS go wrong. And then, we make them right. In this instance, my only preliminary goal was to download the ISO for the newest version of LEAP 16.0, offline installer. BUT, for some, as yet unknown reason, something went wrong. No matter what, this minor known unknown will not deter me. This is one major part of the fun of computing. I will keep you updated concerning my progress downloading and installing, or I should say migrating, from LEAP 15.6 to LEAP 16.0. In the computing world, nothing is ever what it should be, nor what it was intended to be. Instead, sometimes, one must just try one thing after the next. And then, just try once more. IF you....CAN'T HANDLE THIS TRUTH, then...better stay clear of computers and computer programming. For sure, I will persevere until, later this morning, LEAP 16 will be running fine on my machine. This is only for fun. And, as SUSE has always stated, we must "Have a Lot of Fun". Best regards, Gamma Note: Everything will come out in the wash. Note2: I still recall the day IBM invested about ONE BILLION dollars in SUSE..... Those were the days when ONE BILLION really MEANT something....STAGGERING.... Oh, sorry, now that I recall...it was NOVELL, and the amount was 50 million. 15 years ago, 200 million was big news....for SUSE Linux.... How time flies....When we are having fun. No worries. Crime Parents Arrested for Burning Newborn in Charcoal Kiln

Police have arrested a couple accused of burning their newborn child in a charcoal kiln in Ban Fang district, Khon Kaen, following a shocking discovery by local villagers. The incident occurred in Hin Hao village, around 2 km from the nearest community, where the charred body of a newborn was found. Initial autopsy reports indicated the infant had suffered blunt force trauma to the head before being burned. The mother’s account, claiming she accidentally rolled onto the baby while asleep, contradicts forensic findings. Authorities also revealed that both parents have criminal histories, including prior convictions for drug offences and theft. Police Colonel Korpob Netrtaisong of Ban Fang Police Station confirmed the arrests of Mr. A, 30 and Mrs. B, 27, at their home in Nong Ruea district. The couple is currently under investigation at Ban Fang Police Station. According to police, the mother gave birth alone in a condominium in central Khon Kaen on 15 August. The infant died shortly after birth, from autopsy reports. On 16 August, the couple transported the baby to a charcoal kiln in Hin Hao, where they attempted to dispose of the body by burning it. They reportedly claimed knowledge of the kiln’s location through a prior acquaintance with the landowner. The case remains under investigation as authorities continue to gather evidence and question the couple.
