Anyone tried this yet?

I've got the PC version - played it last night - its a great game!!

It has a multi-player league system, so let me know if your playing (or plan to) and we can get an Thaivisa League going or something

Its based on the old Games Workshop board game released over 20 years ago.

It's not free, its $50us - but no monthly subscription for the multiplayer aspect of the game. It is Digital Download only, apparently the hard copy will be released in a few months.

Imagine American Football in the Warhammer setting with as much death, blood and mayhem as you can shake a stick at! Games are broken down into 16 turns (per side) and each turn is 4 minutes, which may not sound like much but once you get to grips with the basics of the game it is ample time (i was hitting 'end turn' after about 1-2minutes of play) The game has a single player (offline) campaign mode and has a hot seat multi player mode (a recipe for drunken afternoons with a few mates) as well as an Online League style game. You start with a basic team but as you play, and hopefully win games, you get star player points which can be used to buy new skills and upgrade your players.

lol I had the board game of this when I was about 14....when's the Xbox version out?

I'm definitely getting this. But, the boxed copy came out in some countries already, although not in the US until September. I went to Zest to see if it was out in Thailand yet but they didn't have it, and didn't even know what I was talking about. The game is on their web site though, 'coming soon.' I'm gonna give them a bit more time, and if it doesn't come just buy it online.

Oh and I think the 360 version comes out in September. There is a Nintendo DS version coming too.
