Where Can I Get Rubber Boots In Large Men's Sizes

Featured Replies

The university in Rangsit where I work, like most of Thailand, has a terrrible drainage system and floods every time it rains. I would like to get a pair of tall rubber boots, like the workers wear, to save my shoes from damage. Any idea where I can get a pair of men's rubber work boots in a men's size 10 in Bangkok?

i remember tesco lotus used to sell them

Tesco at on-nut had a boat load of rubber boots. I bought some size 11s and 12s for less than 150 baht think. One of my best investments since I moved to Thailand.

Buy them before the rains hit or their supply will be greatly diminished when it starts falling.

Would you like a sheep with those?

Or maybe you're not a Kiwi.

mate, just do as the locals do - wear flip flops with your suit and tie. roll up the pants and say "mai pen rai". Leave the white socks in your drawer.

Thanks for the suggestion, but being a female I don't wear a tie...and I am trying to avoid walking in the water...it smells like sewage. The locals can walk in it if they want to but I prefer not to.

I found a pair of white rubber boots at Carrefour for 165 baht. They look like pictures of the go go boots from the 70's but who cares...they will keep my feet and legs out of the filthy water.

My man forget the rubber boots, get yourself a small rubber/plastic boat/with small pump. One that easy to inflate/deflate, store in packback, a friend in Patong did this years ago and is living happily ever after. NO Kidding. :D:D:) >just my thought/suggestion.

I'm only a 10 and a half but I can't find shoes to fit around Pak Chong. Brought a pair of 'wellies' with me this trip.
