Bkk - Cm Driving: Best Route

For the first time I will be driving from BKK to CM.

Which route is the fastest and takes into account any newer or expanded roads?

Without doubt the best and easiest route the roads are good also. Ive done it 5 times now and it usually takes me 7 hours with a couple of drink/toilet stops.
