Guesthouse Near The Hilton Karon Beach

Hey all,

I have friends coming to Phuket and staying at the Hilton at Karon Beach...

unfortunately for me, 1 night's accommodation there costs a month's rent here in CM.

so... does anyone know of any decent Guesthouses or budget hotels preferably under 1000baht per night NEAR the hilton?

i will then just be a cheapie and use the hilton's services

There a few cheap guest houses near the Patak Road main entrance of Hilton Arcadia. Doubt they have web sites, but I'm sure you will be able to get a walk-in vacancy easy enough. Not really any budget hotels near Hilton on the beach road, you would need to be a couple of klicks away in Kata or Karon villages for budget room.

Right across from the Karon Beach Resort is Kata Villas. Inexpensive, 500thb a night last I looked.

You have a small pool, and you are right on Karon Beach, just down the road from the back entrance into the Hilton which is better. The Hilton is quite a large property the front entrance you have to tram all the way through the property to get to the lobby, the back entrance (beachside) is a much quicker route to the lobby. www.katavilla.com/

Huggy, the wbsite makes for enticing viewing.

Pity I am not arriving till 30th Oct.
