Photo Walk in Phuket on Saturday

PHUKET CITY: -- Calling all photographers: you are invited to join tens of thousands of snappers across the globe for a worldwide ‘photo walk’ next Saturday.

Phuket City is one of 915 locations around the world in which groups of photographers will spend two hours walking the streets, talking about the art of photography and, of course, taking pictures.

The Scott Kelby Annual Worldwide Photo Walk was a massive success last year, when it was held for the first time.

More than 8,324 photographers in 236 cities took part, taking over one million photographs of their neighborhoods.

Organizer Scott Kelby is hoping this event will be an event bigger hit this year.

Up to 50 photographers can participate in each walk. There are still 29 places available for the Phuket City leg.

Karim Khamzin, organizer of the Phuket City walk, said the event will be a great chance to make new friends who share a passion for photography.

Participants will meet at 9am in Cafe 154 at the Royal Phuket City Hotel on Phang Nga Road in Phuket City.

For more information and to register for the walk, click here.
