Fair Price For Dropped Ceiling With Step?

Featured Replies

I'm in Pattaya and have a living room that I want to put a dropped drywall ceiling in, with a step in the middle along with recessed lighting.

The room is about 32 square meters in size.

I'm getting quotes around the 30k baht range and I may be off, but I find that a little high. Perhaps 5 - 10k too high, but I could be living in la-la land.

Any of you had this done and can share the kind of prices you paid?

Thanks.

A Trang company did our new (two floors) house of approx total 130sqm for 35,000Thb. Not including materials which I bought separately..about 12k Thb. Two 5x4m dropped ceilings tapered up from 500m valances for lighting. Ceiling is suspended on gal steel frames..very impressed by this methodology, never seen it except for ceiling tiles in offices and the like!

no paint or wiring included..excellent accurate job and quick...best job in the whole house!
