just returned from pattaya this week. noticed the famous sports bar was derelict, what happened?

Was this the old Premiership Bar opposite the Diana Dragon in Soi Diana? It was dead when I was there in March and this slump must have killed it off.

I noticed that, the bar is very quiet.

Soi Honey has now just become an absolute massage-run.

If you walk from 2nd Road up to Soi Bukhaw, you must pass about thirty such establishments with a gaggle of girls pleading for (massage) business.

Lots of businesses closing all over Pattaya. Likely to get worse before it gets better. As usual though..prices are going up on account of the slump. TIT.

Just got back from soi 7/8. Saw at least 3 bars advertising 24 hr happy hour, with beer in the 45-60 baht range. Staying in R-Con hotel for 600/night. Got a thai massage for 100 baht on soi buakhao last week. Plenty of places are dropping prices to survive.
