I wish to open an account with a new username, which I've done, but no confirmation yet. I now wish to close my old registration, which I do not see how to do. I also wish to list all the posts I've made in the old account to transfer them to my email address, as I assume they will be cancelled from the forums on closure of my old account. The search facility does not seem to work with names.

Perhaps just changing your username would suit better? That way you keep everything except your old name.

Just click on your username anywhere like up in the top left where it says you are logged in as: username then click on "Find member's posts"

I got tired of having an unpronounceable user name.....

Buadhai is the brand name of an aspirin product that comes in little green packages and from which my avatar is derived:

The image is about three times normal size. The stuff costs one baht a packet and is touted as a headache, toothache and muscle pain reliever as well as a fever reducer. (Just like any aspirin product.) But, I really like Mr. Big Head, because some mornings I feel just like that.

And, oddly, the guy really resembles me!
