hello bkk,i am looking to be in bkk on aug.7th and 8th what is a good hotel and the cost of the rooms .it will be the wife and myself.could i just go to the hotel and get a room.is this advisable are do i need to book a room.thanks,buffaloe

try the taipan, very close, not sure of rates in this area though.

You should be able to walk in and get room at hotel with few exceptions.
