New pictures for non imm visa

i think there is a new size of picture required for a non imm visas, before it used to be just a normal passport size picture, now i was told you need a 2 inch photo, can anyone confirm which is correct??? thanks

Nominally a 2"...half that for a driver's licence. And no smile for the pic ???

For many years I used the passport picture, now they find it too small! They didn't accept it in August. The avantage of the bigger one is to show your shirt and more background... So smart!
