Yesterday, Saturday 7th at 9am one of the men in The Car Care Centre, nearly opposite the back entrance to Samakee School, found the decomposing remains of a person around the back of one of their sheds. An unpleasant stink had prevailed for a number of days, and while investigating this, one of the staff found the body. It is believed to have laid there for about a month, covered in maggots and the face was unrecognisable as had been eaten away. No other information as to the ID, age or gender of the deceased is known at present.

There was a considerable police presence there for most of the morning.

This information was given me by a reliable lady who parks her car in there, she said she parks about 5 meters from the spot. She is now in mortal fear of a ghost in the back seat of her car! It was also verified by two other people who were working nearby.

It was a bad week. First the shooting at the soup shop that Khun Thaksin visited when he was in Chiang Rai. The bullets went through the door.

Fired probably by members of the yellow mafia.

Then the horrible killing of the lady at the Kok River.

And now this agian...

The police think he may have been a peeping-tom! Maybe he saw something that stopped his ticker! Or worse happened!!!

Apparently the shooting at the restaurant was at 3 in the morning.

What the story of the lady at the Kok River?

a few days ago, a motor accident on the 2-lane hwy that goes NW out of C.Rai, just N. of Ban Nam Lat. A car with 2 children hit by a truck. a baby died and the elder kid seriously injured. Truck drove off, driver not found.

Terrible news. so sad. I hope they catch this driver.

The shooting was at about 3am when the shots were fired at the closed doors. I eat delish kha moo there every week, asking for "mai ow man" (no fatty bits) and extra gravy. Avoid going in there with a yellow shirt, THEY ARE VERY RED SHIRT, I bet next Saturday it will be shut up as they will go to the big red shirt demo in BKK. Nice but Silly people in there who aught to pay heed to what the king said yesterday - UNITY.

The owner is related to Thaksin I believe.
