Moving Out Soon: Need Truck To Move

Featured Replies

Hello all friends,

I am soon moving out of my apartment in Sukhumvit Road (Around Asoke) to around Ramkhamhaeng area.

Looking for a medium sized Truck to move out a few things: not many as I'm only one person.

It doesn't need to be a huge truck. Have a TV table and one 1,90 CM tall wardrobe.

Can anyone recommend a Honest, reliable and NOT expensive person to do this?

Don't need any helpers, just the driver and the truck.

I'm willing to pay Thai price as I can speak fairly good Thai and not willing to pay higher prices.

Many thanks in advance.

Good night. :)

You may want to ask your landlord(s). My ex did this and of course they knew several people. Then the driver has more of an incentive (hopefully) to do a good job since they stand to lose a referral.

I often see a couple of utes with caged backs parked Sukhumvit Soi 11 before you get to the Citdines Hotel which is just before the BedSupperClub. They have signs offering their services.

I've used some guys with their own truck several times for moving. They did a sterling reliable job each time - collecting everything, packing it if need be and putting it carefully in the destination apartment. It depends on distance, but I reckon they'd charge 1000 baht. PM me for tel number if you want to.

Hi CarlBkk,

I've sent you the PM.

Pls reply

Thanks mate :)

I've used the services of a guy named Khun Kuan, who charges reasonable rates. He charged me 700 baht for a short haul, however, Ramkamhaeng is quite a bit further. I'm sure you can negotiate. His number is 089-894-6062. Good luck!
