You can bring your wifes house book, a photo copy of her ID, and contact number. If no wife: a lease agreement, a bill, and a letter from the embassey. Its been a couple years for me so i cannot remember what i brought.

If you have WP you don't need address confirmation letter.

I recently called my immigration office (Kanchanaburi) to query the availability of the address confirmation letter and they directed me to my local amphur for this purpose. There is a listing of immigration offices somewhere on this forum with contact details. To the OP, it might be wise to call yours and ask if they issue address confirmation letters or not.

There is also no guarantee that the local amphur will issue the letter. For Americans the ACS at the embassy appears to be a sure thing.

All done 100 baht for letter at local immigration 2 copies of passport with non-o visa wifes id ,house book and some paper work for the wife to sign now to the doctors for letter cheers Jim....
