For six years, I've used the dentist across the street (to the north) from the main police headquarters in MK. It's actually across the street and slightly east (toward Kasikorn bank). If you're going from the clock tower to the Bangkok Bank intersection, start to turn left at that intersection. The office is on the left just before you complete the turn. Ask for Dr. Wattana who was educated at MSU, and speaks English.

Caveat: Dental care in Isaan is not the same as your home country. Dental cleaning only takes 10 minutes (took 1 to 1.5 hours in my home country), and you should specifically request pain killer for any pain-prone procedures (like drillings and fillings). There are a couple of newer dental offices on the way to MSU in Thakhonyang, but the staff is younger and less experienced. Their clients are generally poorer students who will accept a lesser degree of dental care.
