Moving Trailers?

Featured Replies

Can you rent them in thailand? we're trying to move from bkk to Ubon... but don't want to make 3 trips, and don't want to pay a big truck to move. My gf said the police don't allow them, or you have to pay bribes to use them... true?

I'll move this to motoring where you'll likely get better answers.

AFAIK and judging by the tiny number of proper trailers on the roads they are taxed, registered and insured as a separate vehicle and so are a right royal pain to own and operate. A mate has a boat trailer in Hua Hin and, although 100% legal, his driver is forever being pulled and 'fined' :)
