Sunrise Tacos

Featured Replies

i have been a somewhat regular customer with sunrise tacos since they opened, but it has gotten to the point where i don't dare order food from them any longer.

on the last few occasions i have ordered via chefs xp, something (usually salsa or sour cream i am billed extra for) has either been forgotten or the food has been inedible.

In the case of the inedible, the last time i ordered, i had tacos and the meat must have been either rancid or wrongly prepared. after the first bit i felt queasy and while i did not get ill i had to brush my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth. needless to say the whole order went into the bin.

these cockups have become too regular to ever bother with ordering from them again.

Am i alone in finding them shockingly indifferent to the food they send out the door? Is this happening to me in isolation or have others had the same experience?

You could get a free Thai Visa "holiday" for daring to publish this. :)

could be the "farang" management is out of town for a few days and it is getting "thaianized"

I am not surprised at all.

I have over the years tried different companys when it comes to delivey of food from various restaurants.

I got tired of it, as it seems like it was quality delivered by random.

No matter from what restaurant the food came from.

Sometimes good, the next time sub standard.

I sometimes wondered if the food in fact came from these restaurants, or all the food come from one big kitchen that had some sort of "licence" to use the various restaurants' recipe, thus say the food came from them (the restarants).

These days, I order directly from the restaurants (if they deliver), and not via someone.

The place went down hill fast, was a real novelty when it first opened.

go to villa, buy some taco shells, salsa, cheese, lettuce and mince beef and make ur own. much better. I tried chefsxp to get tacos and enchiladas from coyote and by time food got here, it was dogfood. i just make my own now or go to the restaurant and eat it there where it will be fresh made

You are right, the take-away food is really awful, and not much better in the place, <snip> ... glad its not just me that found it inedible...

Why not contact them directly to alert them of their quality control issues?
