I read in the Norwegian news that a 47 year old Norwegian have been shot in Korat . Very sparse information so far. Can anyone confirm this ?

-The Norwegian embassy in Bangkok confirms that a 47 year old Norwegian man was shot in Korat.

-The Norwegian and his thai wife own a house in the area where they spend a lot of time every year.

They have 2 small children. .

The embassy have not been given more details about the incident that happened this morning.

The local police are investigating the incident.

He was shot in the stomach by an intruder in his home .

He is in a critical condition according to the hospital.

gosh, how terrible it is that a man is not safe in his own home. Hope this gentleman makes a full recovery and the ones responsible are caught and dealt with.
