Sakon Nakhon Air Service And Others Suspended

PB Airline has suspended all flights to Mae Sot, Buriram, Roi-et, Sakon Nakhon effective October 20 until October 27.

In August of this year PB Air terminated it's fleet contract for Embraer ERJ 145 LR, switching to leasing ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft from Bangkok Air in order to reduce operating costs.

As told by a local airport employee (rumor), PB air has unpaid bills with Bangkok Air, subsequently Bangkok Air suspended all flights.

At this time the nearest airport to Sakon Nakhon is in Udon Thani.

PB air web site lists flights to Nakhon Phanom serviced by Thai Airways. I was unable to confirm these flights
