Pattaya, October 27 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : We have received many phone calls and emails from angry business operators and residents who live in Jomtien who have asked us to highlight the state of the Jomtien Second Road which is currently under construction and the continuing road expansion program of the Tappraya Road which has yet to be completed. One area of major concern is the Hanaman Statue area located at the curve which continues down to Jomtien Beach Road. Many are angry at the state of the road and the lack of access to some businesses is causing financial problems for some who are finding it hard to survive. The Hanaman statue area currently resembles a dirt track and construction appears to have either stopped or is moving at a very slow pace and will certainly not be finished for the start of high season. All we can do is to send the pictures that accompany this report to the Mayors office at Pattaya City Hall for their consideration and hope that by running this story, some action will be taken to speed up the construction work for the sake of local business operators who are desperate for the work to be completed.
