Taking Dog Back To The Uk

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have a 2 year old shitzu in Thailand. I've moved back to the UK and now want to bring him back here too. I am aware of the 6 months quarantine rules and have already found a company in the UK who will arrange all the quarantine (£3000 for the 6 months - crazy but worth it!)

Has anyone done this...there's lots of people taking dogs to US and Europe but haven't read as yet of anyone successfully taking their dog back to the UK. If any one has I would like to know which airlines accept dogs and the general cost of the flight and paperwork while in Bangkok. I've got it sorted from when he arrives in the UK but as I'm not in Thailand I'm finding it increasingly hard to find the info on the internet.

Any help will be appreciated!

Kirsty and beano!

I know of a couple who just brought their dog back to the UK. I'll send you a pm.

I know this is a really really old thread... but can I get a copy of that PM too?

From anyone?
