Fair Priced Hotel Near Swampy Wanted For Overnight Stay

Featured Replies

I need a couple of hotel rooms for one night near the end of November. I do not want to go into Bangkok and if the prices were more accommodating, then the Novotel would be the perfect solution. However, one room will be a village couple and as such, two rooms at the Novotel is out of the question.

Arriving early evening, say around 7pm and overnighting, with food required in the evening and in the morning.

Any suggestions ?

Queens garden, about 5 minutes from the airport, i use it myself often 1000 baht pernight. Its not the hilton but its clean, aircon in rooms and wifi if you require it.

You can book online and pay when you arrive also pick up service from the airport.

Agree with geordie, have stayed in Queens garden resort a few times now. Cheap and clean, small restaurant on-site, a couple of 7-11's nearby also some food stalls within walking distance. Book it through Agoda.com normally about 700 baht with them.

Try the search function on Agoda for more choice, you can narrow it down to Suvarnabhumi/Bang na areas after choosing Bangkok.

Or try this thread http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Hotels-guest...-A-t158365.html

Best regards

Stayed at the Convienant a few weeks ago - about 700 thru agoda.

Good and clean basic Rooms

Can book early morning wake up call and has shuttle bus to Swampy.

Restaurant was good but u do need mosquito repellant (which they supplied to us) when dining there as the hotel is in the middle of mosquito fields.

(a) Go straight to the King Power duty free shops

(:) Look around a bit, touch a few goods, perhaps even buy something

© Soon after you will be approached by two gentlemen in brown who will escort you to a nice clean hotel near the airport

(d) There are no charges for the room but I understand that checking out can be problematic

I forgot the name of the hotel otherwise you could skip steps (a) to (d)
