Bombay

A little while back I enquired about where to buy Indian spices in Chiang Mai and I was kindly directed by TV members to try the Indian spice stall at Warawot Market.

Anyway I visited yesterday, the name of the stall is Bombay, it has a great choice of spices as well as masala tea and gram flour, the owner speaks excellent English.

Recommended for anybody who likes to cook Indian food at home :)

Hi femi fan, heres a map showing Warorot. Its quite a large market area with shops lining the outside and lots of stalls inside.

It can get a bit of a tangle people and traffic wise, so be prepared (best to go early!):

Could you give me a pointer as to roughly where in worawat market it is?

If you don't where warawot market is eek has pointed you in the right direction :)

Once your inside the covered market area that sells all the dried food stuff, everyone seems to know where the Indian food stall is and they know the name Bombay,

if my directions are correct it is in the North East facing part of the market - if you take the entrance diagonally across from the 7-11 and once you are in the market do a left, but as I said it seems to be a well known stall in the market.
